Some companies also offer used units for a discounted cost. When choosing a used unit, be sure to ask how old the chair is, and if it has been properly removed from the old home by a professional. This way you will not end up with a broken unit, or a unit that may only last for 2 years or less because of its age. 



Specialty


Specialty units of stair lifts are available as well for around $4000-$7000. These units may have more features, or can keep the rider upright when there are knee or joint issues. Your sales representative can help you find the best unit to fit your needs.
